The HELUZ roller shutter lintel is used as a top mounted bearing lintel and at the same time as a box for fitting shading systems - external roller shutters and external blinds. The box is monolithic - produced of one piece. Outer and inner walls of the bearing roller shutter lintel are provided with brick linings. Rails for fixation of the roller shutter shaft holder which allow the roller shutter holder to shift according to the window construction width are incorporated in the lintel inside space for the roller shutter in its upper part. These elements are self-supporting building components and they are manufactured for masonry thickness of 365, 380, 400, 440 and 490 mm, and a height of 238 mm. The boxes perform a supporting function and are not provided with reinforcement. An inspection flap is used in the system. There is an octagonal steel galvanized shaft with a diameter of 60 mm inside the box. The roller shutter plate consisting of aluminium slats filled with PUR foam (delivered in 19 colours) or of plastic hollow slats (delivered in 7 colours) is wound on the shaft. All slats (except the first ten slats) are perforated all along their length. The plate is mounted on the shaft using steel suspension springs, and it is terminated by the end slat of extruded aluminium. The end slat is provided with contact sealing rubber and plastic stops preventing the plate from entering the box completely. The plate moves in the guide rails of extruded aluminium which are fitted with cleaning brushes. Standardly we deliver them in white and brown (RAL colours are possible, too). The guide rails can be set in AL cases which are to be installed in the reveal during the shell construction. Nowadays, the usual accessories for roller shutters are motors with the possibility of a group control and central control.
